Top 5 Necklines You Need to Know

Hello, loves!  Here we are again, breaking down the ~lingo~ surrounding wedding dresses (and bridesmaid dresses).  You want to make sure that you are ready to shop with an open mind, but it is also helpful to know what you like and don’t like.  And we have just the words to help you out!  The top five necklines you need to know:

V-Neck: Just like your favorite sweater, the v-neck can be plunging or a simple v-shape.

David’s Bridal Galina Style WG3827

Illusion: Illusion necklines feature a second layer of sheer fabric on top of the original neckline, offering more coverage but allowing for the under neckline to still be visible.

Roz la Kelin: Glamour Plus Collection Violet 5853T

Sweetheart: This neckline is one of the most popular necklines, season after season.  The curvature really accentuates the bustline.

Kenneth Winston: Ella Rose Collection BE376

Straight Strapless: Cut straight across, without straps, this is one of the most common and basic necklines.

Moonlight Tango T770

Bateau: Also known as a boat neck, this style is a little higher cut and does wonders to show off that décolleté
