Top 5 Dress Silhouettes

Hello, friends!  Dress shopping can be super confusing, but we are here to help!  We understand that it is easy to get lost in the mermaid, trumpet, princess, ball gown confusion.  You want to be armed with the ~lingo~ to keep up with the fast-talking salespeople to find the dress of your dreams at the price-point of your dreams.  So, without further ado, here are the top five dress silhouettes you need to know:

Ball Gown: Fitted through the bodice, and dramatic flare out at the waist for a full skirt.

Two by Rosa Clará “Enebro”

A-Line: Fitted through the bodice and falls to the ground with a little more fullness, but without the drama of a ball gown.

Enchanting by Mon Cheri

Trumpet: Fitted through the bodice and to the mid-thigh, at which point it flares out.

Tara Keely

Mermaid: Similar to the trumpet, but is fitted all the way to the knee before flaring out.

Sheath: Narrow and straight down.  Usually not super fitted.
