Long-Term Prep You'll Be Grateful for Later

When planning a wedding, there are a lot of details that have to come together the day of the wedding, but there are a few things that you can prep long-term that will come in handy later.

Exercise

Many brides think that they should drop a few pounds before the wedding -we disagree.  You’re beautiful at any weight, and your fiancé would agree.  However, if you want to workout to tone up your bride-to-be body, make sure you start early to to lose weight healthily!

Facial and Skincare Routine

You want to glow on your wedding day, so get into a skincare routine that will give you that healthy look you want.  That means keeping your skin free of blemishes, by staying hydrated and keeping it well moisturized.  Achieve an even skin tone by using some of your favorite toners and face masks.

Dance Lessons

Maybe you and your fiancé have a little trouble on the dance floor, or maybe it’s your dad that need a refresher.  Dust off those dancing shoes and invest in some dance lessons so you know how to waltz ahead of time!

Rehearsal Dinner

Finally, don’t underestimate the importance of the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  Your bridal party will want to know who they’re walking down the aisle with, at what speed they need to walk, and where they stand during the ceremony.  Make sure you or the wedding planner have a list of all the things you need to go over during the rehearsal so your big day can be stress free.

At the end of the day, these are only a few tips to make your wedding go more smoothly.  Of course, you can’t predict everything that might go wrong, but at least you did what you could to prepare.  Happy planning!
